Mentors Matters - 6/10/2008

The first week of the program could not have gotten off to a better start!  The weather finally broke and the temperature barely topped 80!

Ted Cremeans, the golf professional at Rollandia Golf Center, began our day with a lesson on the facility, golf safety, and how to putt.

(Bill Leboeuf shares a laugh while being out putted)

It was quickly off to the putting green where the kids were able to take up a few lessons from our Mentors on how to perform the putting stroke.

(Everybody having a good time)

After the putting lesson and lunch, Frank was there to offer some teamwork building exercises.  As the two teams developed their own creative ways of staying atop a group of blocks, it was easy to see how much fun was being had by the kids and the mentors.  Even piggy backing was allowed!!

(Row, Row, Row Your Boat...)

 (Piggy backs? Really?)

Thanks to each and every person who was able to attend, we look forward to seeing all of you later in the summer!
