 Jeff Graham
- For the past five years, Jeff has dedicated his time and energy to volunteering with Miami Valley Golf as a spotter and scorer.

When he's not volunteering, Jeff can often be found golfing on the courses of Beavercreek and Yankee Trace. His love for golf stretches back to his days aNadeauGolf_Outing_-_Jeff_Grahamt the DP&L club championship, where he and his older brother Scott would battle it out on the challenging 9-hole course. Despite losing to Scott in one of the finals, Jeff cherishes those memories of friendly competition.

One of Jeffs first jobs was as a caddy at Walnut Grove where he and his friends would pedal their bikes to the course. Eventually, he graduated to toting two bags at Dayton Country Club, doubling his earnings and relishing the camaraderie of his fellow caddies. It was at Dayton Country Club where Jeff achieved his only hole-in-one on the 18th hole, a special acheivement he'll never forget.

Yet, perhaps the most memorable experiences came from his time caddying for celebrities at charity events hosted by Dayton and Cy Laughter. Jeff had the privilege of accompanying legends like Pee Wee Reese and his favorite actor, Ray Bolger, best known for his role as the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz." For Jeff, being on the course with such iconic figures was a dream come true.

While Jeff's competitive spirit has led him to second place three times at DP&L and several appearances at the Dayton City Championship, he's never quite made a big run. But golf isn't the only passion in Jeff's life. After 39 years of dedicated service, he retired from Civil Service in 2019, finding new purpose in volunteering at the USAF Museum, serving on the Parish Council at Ascension Catholic Church, and helping at the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry twice a week.

In addition to his community work, Jeff still referees competitive soccer and reflects fondly on his years coaching his four children in high-level leagues and tournaments. His children, Jon, Jim, Jeffrey, and Sarah, have each carved their own paths to success, from academic achievements to athletic prowess as well as making Jeff a grandpa to several grandchildren.

Through it all, Jeff's rock has been his wife, Sue, whom he loves and admires more than words can express. She is his partner in every sense of the word, balancing his passions with her own involvement in church activities and her unwavering support for their family.

Thank you for being such a dedicated Miami Valley Golf Volunteer!
