DREW PRATER
PJ Boatwright Intern

Golf has always been a part of my life from an early age and felt it has played an essential part of my development as a person and the values I have taken from the game. I grew up being heavily involved in sports due to my dad being a coach and attended Beavercreek High School where I played golf, basketball, and baseball. During high school I began to focus more on golf and received numerous awards from it including first team all-district and the award of excellence for sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity by the OHSAA. After graduation, I decided to attend the University of Findlay in northern Ohio.

Currently, I am going to be a junior at the University of Findlay where I am a member of the men’s golf team and studying marketing and sports business. Last summer, I was an intern for the Southern Ohio PGA where I was a communications and operations intern for them. Over the years I have been a been a scoreboard volunteer for the Memorial Tournament twice as well as helping with pace of play for the NCAA Division 2 Women’s National Championship and NCAA Men’s Super Regional. In the future I hope to work in the industry with a national association, club manufacture, course, or as a college coach.
