 - WGCC will host our Mid-Amateur and Senior
Championship on Monday, July 8th and Tuesday, July 9th. This is a full two
months ahead of the traditional dates, and the move was made to align with our
area's unique schedule for 2024.This will be the second time this Championship is hosted
by Walnut Grove. The last time was in 2015 when Tim Sorrows won the Senior
Championship, and Mark Monfort captured the Mid-Amateur Title. Our defending
champions in 2024 will be Andy Boedecker in the Senior division and Jeff Scohy
in the Mid-Amateur division. There will be a slight change in the Championship's
Senior Divisions of Play. The change will involve tee selection and will limit
the division of play based on the tee you select. This change was made to
ensure that the standards of competition are in complete compliance with the
Rules of Golf. Registration will be open after the first of the year. |
