 - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Heffner, a cherished member of our community and a revered golf champion after a short illness at 86. Karl's legacy in the world of golf was nothing short of extraordinary. With a passion for the sport that spanned the better part of a lifetime, he became an enduring figure in the local golfing scene. His dedication, combined with his exceptional talent, made him a perennial champion in our area, and his name will forever be synonymous with the game in our area.Karl's warm heart, boundless generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a source of inspiration and encouragement to many, both on and off the golf course. His wisdom and guidance enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. A Gathering to Celebrate Karl's Life will be this Wednesday, December 20 from 2-4pm at Pipestone GC. |
