    DDWGA'ers Team Up For Partners Event

    Springfield, Ohio-- Some say that two heads are better than one.

    When you can double the golf and triple the fun, the DDWGA agrees, hence the reason for the annual Partners Event.

    This year's competition, held at Windy Knoll Golf Course, didn't disappiont. Teams from all over the Miami Valley gathered for a fun, competitive day of golf.

    The most challenging hole of the day was #7. Competitors averaged 5.7 strokes on this par-4, 313-yard hole. The easiest hole of the afternoon was #2. Golfers averaged 3.688 shots on this par-3, 147-yard hole. The field average for the event was 93.333.

    The team of Tee Pazitney and Susan Seitz tied Becky Krakowski and Karen Watson as Gross Winners. Both teams posted a score of 71.
    Emily Bruns and Mary Biermann captured Flight 1 with a score of 60, while Diana Juergens and Linda Tyree were victorious in Flight 2 with a round of 57.

    Paula Anderson and Kelly Friday's round of 56 helped the duo claim the top spot on the Flight 3 leaderboard.

    DDWGA action resumes on Monday, Aug. 9 as Dayton Country club hosts the Twin Best Ball. Hope to see you there!
